This time of year can see us enjoying all sorts of excesses. Which can very often see us create all sorts of excess waste.
An article recently published stated that the Christmas period can see an increase as much as 30% in household waste going to Landfill.
Here are our top tips on a greener Christmas…
- Think about donating money to good causes rather than spending money on Christmas Cards and postage
- Use LED lights on your tree to save energy
- Try to use recycled wrapping paper
- Consider buying children an “adopt and animal gift” from the WWF rather than another toy they will be bored of by the time New Year is here
