With our daily routines being drastically limited, we may feel somewhat helpless and out of control during these uncertain times.
Therefore it’s ever more important to focus on what we can look after as much as possible, including our physical and mental health.
While we are currently restricted in how we exercise, there are some great resources online for staying active in the home. Joe Wicks “The Body Coach” is streaming daily “PE with Joe” exercise class for school children that they can perform in their own living rooms.
Winchester Wellness are running a series of Virtual Pilates classes, with classes available to all levels. More details can be found under our appointments and fees tab on the website.
For mental health it’s important to
- Stay connected with friends and family
- Focus on what you can control
- Talk about any worries or anxiety and try to avoid too much negative news!
- Try to relax through meditation or taking time for yourself
