Here is a really easy movement to help with any post wrapping backache:
Arm Openings

Lay on 1 side with a pillow/cushion or two under your head to keep your neck in alignment with the rest of the spine (i.e your head is nether dropping towards the floor nor pushed up towards the ceiling).
Straighten your bottom leg & bend the top knee up so it is level with your hip (can also place pillow/cushion under knee if more comfortable for you).
Place arms out straight in front of chest, palms together and just make sure to start with your head at the front of the pillow to allow for it to roll back.
Lift your top arm up and over your shoulder then let gravity pull the back of the wrist down as close to the floor as is comfortable as you turn your head to watch the fingertips all the way.
Hold in this lovely chest stretch and spinal twist for a few seconds(or longer if you prefer) before coming back up and over to the front again with the hand and following with the head again.
*Top Tip* – imagine lengthening your arms as you do this exercise to really feel a nice opening across the front of the shoulders.
P.S try to spread the wrapping out so you don’t sit doing it all at once! However, if you have left it all to the last minute make sure to come back to this stretch to ease up afterwards!!
Merry Christmas and Stay Well!
