4-week ante-natal course in March
Winchester Wellness are pleased to be delivering a 4-week course of ‘Pregnancy Pilates’ starting Tuesday 3rd March. The classes will run weekly at 7:30pm for an hour.
As it will be best to attend all 4 classes to progress through the course, we are offering an upfront payment option of £32 (just £8 per class!). For drop in sessions it will be the usual £10 per class.
No matter what stage of pregnancy you are in, this form of exercise will be hugely beneficial to you. Clinical Pilates teaches you HOW to engage that infamous “pelvic floor” and other deep core muscles. This will help to prevent typical aches and pains related to pregnancy. A healthy pelvic floor can also speed up recovery after childbirth.
You will learn how to exercise safely throughout this vital time. Pilates is also a useful adjunct to other forms of exercise to maintain a balance of stability and mobility. Particularly helpful when some areas are loosening due to hormone changes whilst other areas can feel tighter due to less space and more pressure!
